Course Overview

Washington, D.C. is now a “Shall Issue” jurisdiction. Students will leave the course with an understanding of carry procedures both in and outside of the District of Columbia.

• Basic pistol knowledge and operation
• Ammunition knowledge and pistol selection
• Shooting fundamentals (grip, stance, etc.)
• How to pick the right holster
• Cleaning and maintenance

Live Fire Qualification

• 50 rounds on the range

Prerequisites

Be able to load, unload, clear and fire a handgun without supervision.
