Holster Draw Certification

Course Overview

The holster draw certification course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely practice holster draw techniques in a live fire environment.

Upon satisfactory completion of the course, the student will be issued an ID badge and yellow lanyard that must be worn at all times when practicing holster draw on the range.

1. Safety brief and safe gun handling techniques review
2. Holster draw techniques (dry fire)
3. Safety briefing for live fire
4. Holster draw qualification (live fire)
5. Debrief

Prerequisites

Student MUST already be proficient at loading/unloading and firing their pistol without supervision and have a firearm and holster.
