PLEASE NOTE: If you have a Maryland Medical Marijuana Card, you are ineligible to receive a Handgun Qualification License (HQL) in the State of Maryland. Please do not register for the course.

Course Overview

Required 4 hour course for new purchasers of handguns in Maryland. Certain exceptions apply. Includes required digital LiveScan fingerprinting onsite.

Prerequisites

No prior experience required to take the MD HQL. You will need to fill out and submit a LiveScan form in advance.
