Course Overview

This 2 hour course is designed to be an overview of Maryland carry law, need to know information and instructions on completing the application for those who are not required to have the state mandated training. Even though military is exempt from the training requirements, this course is evidence of your taking your responsibility for carrying your weapon safely in a civilian environment.

Topics

1. Maryland Firearm Laws in regards to legal implications of carry in a non-military setting
2. Explaining the difference between Military use of Force and civilian use of force.
3. Cover where you can and cannot have a firearm based on Maryland La. There are many prohibited locations.
4. Requirements for veterans for the application to wear & carry
