Course Overview: Students will be given an overview of their AR-15-style rifle with an emphasis on maintenance and use of sights.

• Field stripping the rifle

• Cleaning and lubricating the rifle

• Function-checking the rifle

• Common issues and solutions

• How to mount and use sights
