Maryland Security Guard Certification

Course Overview

FreeState Gun Range now offers Maryland Security Guard Certification training for individuals seeking employment in the private security field. Our program follows Maryland State Police training guidelines and prepares students for real world security responsibilities. This is a hybrid course with part being conducted virtually and part in-person. Initial certification training is $225, Renewal training is $175.

Prerequisites

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• U.S. citizen or legal resident
• No felony convictions
• Fingerprint background check required
